We understand that purchasing leather articles is an investment these days and that people want to prolong the life of them as long as possible. As you can see in the photograph above, it makes a big difference what product you use and how you use it. At Bee Natural Leathercare we are committed to providing the very finest leather care products for all your needs. Following is a list of helpful tips in using our products.
 

Refurbishing Saddles and Tack

First clean leather with Bee Natural’s Saddle Soap and allow it to dry for about 24 hours. Remember to keep it out of sunlight and heat for best results. This saddle soap far exceeds any other in the industry. Using the saddle soap will allow the oil treatment to penetrate into the leather better.

Next, apply coating of #1 Saddle Oil. If you need to sanitize your leather product; kill bacteria such as distemper or streptococcus equi, or if you have mold and mildew problems, use #1 Saddle Oil with Fungicides. Wait approximately 30 minutes and apply a second coat. The fungicides in this oil will help sanitize the leather and preserve the integrity of the leather. All new saddles should be treated under the saddle jockey and fenders to make sure the interior fibers have proper protection.

Lastly, apply a coating of Bee Natural’s Leather Finish. This combination makes the leather look its best and will protect it.

For maintenance through the year, Bee Natural Rudy’s is a wonderful product to use. It will not only clean and condition but it also retards mold and mildew and will buff to a soft shine.
 

Products for Artists, Crafters, Leather Carvers

During cutting or carving use our Pro-Carv and as the surface of the leather dries, there will be more drag on the knife. It is recommended that the surface be given a sponging of solution at that time to restore easy and smooth carving. In addition, occasionally dipping the blade in the solution greatly enhances the knife's performance.

Pro-Carve is a concentrate that you use with 10 parts of water and one part procarve. After mixing up the product you apply the solution to the surface of leather before tooling, stamping or carving.

As the surface of the leather dries there will be more drag on the knife. It is recommended that the surface be given a sponging of solution at that time to restore easy and smooth carving. As you continue to work, occasionally dipping the blade in the solution will greatly enhance the knife's performance.

For forming leather such as the fork and seat of a saddle, saturate the leather with diluted Pro-Carv, dipping it in the solution. This will make the leather very pliable for forming.

Once you have tooled the leather, then apply one to two light coats of #1 Saddle Oil for conditioning. Allow it to dry up to three hours.

If you are going to do antiquing and dying to set apart the design of your tooling and carving our new RTC product is a great finish. It can be used under and over antiques, dyes and acrylics, allowing you to seal the oil so the antiquing and dye do not bleed through and yet leaving the leather breathable. This one product can be used as both a resist and top coat when antiquing leather. It is non-toxic and odor free and gives a gloss finish that does not crack or peel.
 

Automobile Interiors

For maintaining your interior car leather, use Auto Amore for cleaning and conditioning on a regular basis. This product is ideal for removing marks and soiling that comes from normal use. It is easy to apply and color safe. It will remove a variety of marks including ink, because it is not a solvent or harsh chemical. Sometimes the ink takes time to loosen and lift so Auto Amore needs to be applied a couple of times to let the cleaners work.

If your auto leather is abused by sun and heat Auto Leather LaVita is beneficial to restore and keep your leather supple. It penetrates quickly when applied when the leather is warm. Apply liberally and let sit for several hours. Wipe off excess oils that remain on surface with a clean dry cloth. You could apply another coat of Auto Amore to remove any remaining residue.
 

Bikes and Motorcycles

For conditioning and cleaning leather on motocycles and bikes, Leather Amore is a perfect solution. It is also perfect to use on leather garments to clean and condition.

For waterproofing, Bee Natural's Rain and Snow product is an excellent product for waterproofing biker leathers and can be applied when needed.
 

Leather Furniture

For maintaining your leather furniture, use Furniture Amore for cleaning and conditioning on a regular basis. This product is ideal for cleaning and removing marks and soiling that comes from normal use. It is easy to apply and color safe. It will remove a variety of marks including blue and black ink, because it is not a solvent or harsh chemical. Sometimes the ink takes time to loosen and lift so Furniture Amore needs to be applied a couple of times to let the cleaners work,

If your leather furniture is abused by sun and heat Leather LaVita is beneficial to restore and keep your leather supple. It penetrates quickly when applied when the leather is warm. Apply lightly and let sit for several hours. Wipe off excess oils that remain on surface with a clean dry cloth. Apply another coat of Furniture Amore to remove any oils that remain. Note: Leather gets lighter as it’s depleted of its natural oils. This product will bring your furniture back to its original color. Note: It may enhance the natural color of the leather by darkening, so test in an inconspicuous spot before applying.
 

Sports Equipment

For athletic and golf shoes use Leather Amore to clean and condition.

For ball gloves we offer two products. To form ball gloves, use Glove Form. It lets you form leather, fast, easily, perfectly every time. Overnight it makes your glove fit and feel like it belongs to you.

GloveLite Leather Conditioner is a natural moisturizer and conditioner. Use for regular conditioning and cleaning.
 

Waterproofing Boots and Shoes

Bee Natural's Mink Oil is for softening and waterproofing all top grain leather. Great for boots and shoes.

Snow Country Wax Oil is for heavy duty work boots. Especially formulated for loggers, hunters and fishermen, construction, and people who work in wet areas.

Rain and Snow gives superior water repellency and is micro fiber safe. This product has been tested and approved for leather boots with micro fiber lining.

(Mink oil crème has more waxes than the mink oil. More work to apply and people are getting away from the paste.)

 

Leather Apparel and Purses

For conditioning and cleaning leather apparel, handbags, briefcases etc. Leather Amore is a perfect solution and very easy to use.

For waterproofing, Bee Natural's Rain and Snow product is an excellent product for waterproofing any leather goods subject to outdoor elements.
